The right of cancellation is excluded when ordering a .dk domain name
Please note that when ordering a .dk domain name you at the same time give your consent to waive your right of cancellation in accordance with the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven).
Validation of your information
It is a prerequisite for gaining the right of use of a .dk domain name that your name and address information can be validated by DK Hostmaster A/S. This is due to a requirement in the Danish Act on Internet Domains (domæneloven) regarding correct registration information.
If your residence is in Denmark, DK Hostmaster A/S will validate your name and address information with the information in either the Danish Civil Registration Register (CPR-register) or the Danish Central Business Register (CVR-register).
If you register a .dk domain name as a natural person, please be advised that you may have to use your Danish CPR-number and NemID in order to validate your name and address.
If you register a .dk domain name as a company, you have to use your Danish CVR-number in order to validate the name and address.
DK Hostmaster A/S is entitled to delete your registration of a domain name in case your name and address information cannot be validated.

The information that you state when ordering a domain name is registered by DK Hostmaster A/S and will be used in the administration of your .dk domain name.
According to the Danish Act on Internet Domains your information regarding name, address and phone number shall be publicly available. This is done in the public whois database which contains information of all registered .dk domain names. The whois database can be found on DK Hostmaster A/S’ homepage.
A natural person having name and address protection in the Danish CPR-register or according to another country’s legislation may be anonymous in the whois database.
